Irene "Mimi" Rizzo-Houchens

Irene Gail Rizzo-Houchens “Mimi”, 62, passed away September 8, 2018. Born November 16, 1955, in Detroit, MI, to Anthony and Elizabeth (Weiss) Rizzo. She was a caregiver for a foster child for many years and her love and willingness to help all stretched beyond her front door.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Houchens; sons, Jerry Holdaway, William "Billy" Lane; daughters, Cynthia Glick, Jessica Hoover, Samantha Walker, Barbara Jean Diiorio; brothers, Michael Rizzo, Anthony Rizzo, Jr., and Joseph Rizzo; sisters, Crystal Lindsey, Lynette Murrell; nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating. Celebration ceremony immediately following.
