James Johnson

Ocala - James B. Johnson, 76, passed away October 2, 2016. Born in De Funiak, FL, on December 26, 1939 to Willis and Edna Johnson. He lived in Marion County most of his life and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing any chance he could. He and his wife Joan delivered and set up appliances for many local businesses for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan E. Johnson; father, Willis Johnson; mother, Edna M. Johnson; stepmother, Nettie "Rickie" Johnson; grandmother, Dolly Drake Johnson; brother, Clarence Johnson; sisters, Lunette Burk, Thelma Hall, Kathleen Rushing.
He is survived by his significant other, Paciencia "Sing" Thomas; stepson, Craig Fulford; caregiver, Amelia Johnson; two step grandchildren; and ten nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Reverend John Outlaw officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment to follow in Anthony Cemetery, Anthony, FL.
