Fort McCoy - James " Jimmy" Willis Mears, 80, passed away on October 11, 2016, in Ocala, Florida. He was born on February 15, 1936, in Fort Meade, Florida to John and Addell (Moss) Mears.
He was preceded by his parents, John Grady and Addell Mears; son, Michael Mears; brothers, Luther Mears, and Edward Mears.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charline (Charlyn) Mears; daughter, Bonnie Persinger; brother, John Mears (Susan); sisters, Eva Reeves, Edna Cannon and Nellie Drake.
