James Randall Watson

James Randall Watson "Randy", 86, of Ocala, Florida passed from this life to his eternal home on December 28, 2025. He was born on March 11, 1939 in Omega, Georgia son of Oliver and Tyne Watson.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Cathrin Annette Watson and his parents Oliver and Tyne Watson.

Randy devoted his life to serving God and the Church of God. After marrying in 1964 he and Annette formed an itinerant ministry team, known for anointed music and powerful proclamation of the word. He served as state evangelist in North Carolina, Virginia and Florida and transitioned to the pastorate in 1970 where he served for over 40 years. He has been recognized by his peers, evidenced by the number of boards and committees to which he was elected and appointed. Among them; Florida Evangelist Board, Florida Youth Board, Florida State Council, International Board of Benevolence and Heart of Florida Youth Ranch.

His integrity is unquestioned and his wise council highly prized. He has given himself tirelessly to the service of the Lord, mentoring, strengthening, the church and building the Kingdom.

 A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 8, 2026 at Living Waters Church; 3801 N US HWY 441 Ocala, Florida. Visitation will be held one hour prior for the service at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of  Countryside Funeral home.
