Janice Dale Nelson

Janice Dale Nelson, age 89, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on March 27, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1935, in Coshocton, Ohio a daughter of Raymond and Mable Roof.

She is preceded by; her husband, Dean Francis She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter, Kathy Nelson Crews; brother, Greg Roof; grandchildren, Richard Minor (Charlene Minor), Joseph Minor (Melinda Minor); great grandchildren, Richard Roberts, William Minor, Christopher Minor, Chase Minor, Amellia Minor.

Professional achievements: becoming a beautician was a goal of hers that she achieved. Her goal was to be a beautician and own her own business. Her first love was her family then her business she also had a love to fish and to do crafts.

A service is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
