Jo Ann Joiner

Jo Ann Thompson Joiner, 85, passed from this earth to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2024.  Jo Ann was born in Dubois, Georgia and moved to Ocala when she was about two years old.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, with her most precious treasures here on earth being her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years Lamar; daughters, Cindy (Phil) Finley, and Judy (Bruce) Roberts; a son, Darrin Joiner; five grandchildren, Damon, Kayla, Colton, Brennin and Easton; five great grandchildren, Addison, Paisley, Warren, Camryn and Sadie; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Josie Thompson; a brother, Donald Thompson; and sisters, Helen Enzian and Madeline Bland. A service will be held at Countryside funeral home Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
