Joan D. Overton (Jo), 86, passed away on May 8, 2022 in Ocala, Florida. She was born February 26, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Bert Stone and Leta Hawkins.
She is preceded by her parents; daughter, Theresa Lock; son, Glen Lock.
She is survived by her husband, Syllis Overton; sons, John Lock, Norman Lock, Timothy Overton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 14, 2022 at Simmons Baptist Church Cemetery in Citra, Florida. Visitation will be one hour prior at the graveside.
