John Bassett, age 85, of Anthony, Florida, passed away on September 29, 2023 at Ocala Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on June 8, 1938 in Providence, Rhode Island a son to the late John and Rose (Paquin) Bassett. John is survived by his devoted wife Ellen (Beauchaine) Bassett, two sons Donald and Michael (Christine), a daughter Cheryl (Roger), grandchildren, Justin, Timothy, Christopher and Jennifer, and great grandchildren Kalea and Kaleb. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home.
