John Mcgee, Jr.

John Simpson McGee, Jr., passed away on December 1, 2015.  Born June 7, 1930, to John and Bonnie McGee, in Greenville, SC, he has lived in Citra since the early 1960’s.  He worked in agriculture as a Citrus Manager.  Preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Jacqueline Charlene McGee; son, William Dale McGee; grandson, Bobby Semp; granddaughter, April Mathews; and great-grandson, Kyle James; he is survived by his wife, Judi McGee; sons, John S. McGee, III, Tampa; Michael Andrew McGee, Naples; daughter, Vicki S. McGee, Naples; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Graveside service at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Citra Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County, Sylvia’s House, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.
