Ocala –
John Walter Peavy passed away on November 25, 2015. Born in Miami, FL, he lived in Ocala most all his life. He was a mechanic for Catepillar Ring Power for 20 years. He loved to fish and he was a great mechanic. Preceded in death by his son, John Shannon Peavy; John is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Morris, Monica Hall, Amanda Howard; brother, Herbert Stephen Peavy; sister, Barbara Bengtson; and numerous grandchildren. He was a most decent man; strong, honest, and more giving than any man we’ve ever known. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony.
