Jon Franklin Young

Jon Franklin Young, age 75, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 17, 2024.  He was born on May 8, 1948 in Martinsville, Indiana, a son to the late Franklin and Margaret E. Young.  Jon was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force. He loved his job as a Respirtory Therapist, at North Florida Regional Medical Center where he worked for 35 years and loved and cherished his grandchildren deeply.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife Celestia "Kitty" (Turnipseed) Young, two sons Eric (Tiffany) Mack, Charles (Jennifer) Mack, a daughter Kelly Young, brother Paul (Camillo) Young,  a sister Mary (Jim) Painter, and grandchildren Devon, Landon, Ashton, Korbin, Shelby and Savannah.  A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Saturday January 27, 2024 at 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Jon to Celestia, or to a charity of your choice.
