Judith Mcgee

June 28, 1939 — July 6, 2022

Judith Mae McGee, 83 of Citra, Florida, passed away on July 6, 2022.  Judi is now reunited with her beloved family members - her Mother (Vera O. Jones), her Father (Edwin W. Moore) her sister (Mary E. Pride) and her husbands (Joseph Majher and John McGee). Judi’s family will dearly miss her -  Nieces Christine Bozzetto  (Michael Bozzetto, Michael Nicholas Bozzetto) and Theresa Turnier (Robert Turnier, Tyler Turnier, Brandy Turnier, Blake Turnier), Great Niece Dana Bozzetto Sgro (Frank Sgro, Cesco Sgro), Sister Patricia Hotz, Nephew Douglas Hotz (Kim Hotz, Hunter Hotz (Cailin) and Marie Hotz).

Judi’s life was shared with a circle of lovely and fiercely loyal friends - Suzanne Agular, Janis Corbin, Ruth Ann Velazquez, Carolyn Ingle, Doris Goodman, Junie Jhensen and Willie Garris. Her friends have shared beautiful memories of a loving, caring and generous Judi. Judi was comforted and strengthened by her friend and physician, Dr. Vasudevan Kidambi, One of Judi’s last requests was for Dr. Kidambi’s wife to make her lentil soup, and she did, and this extraordinary physician brought the soup to her. Judi’s family are comforted these wonderful people were a part of the fabric of her life.

Judi was a character.  You were never quite prepared for what she would say.  For instance, On Tuesday, her sister phoned her early in the morning.  Judi answered the phone and said “What do you want”?  Her sister silently laughed and said “Well I have been checking on you every morning for years – why change the tradition now?”.  Her sister calls these interactions Judi-isms.  Judi was always REAL.

A Graveside Service will be held on July 30th at 11:00 am at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.
