Kenneth Vance Lake, 65, passed away November 11, 2018 at home. He was born March 13, 1953, in Indiana, to Marx William and Harriet Jane Lake. He is better known as "Coach Ken" as he was a volunteer football coach at MCYFL for 20 years. He was a local business owner and he loved the Gators.
He is preceded in death by his son, SSG. Chad Lake. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Lopez (Melvin); brothers, Monte (JoAnn) Lake; Jack (Barb) Lake; Phillip Richard (Joan) Lake; sisters, JaneAnn (Glen) Sandbakken, Marcia (BJ) Raskauskas, Pam Wolf and grandchildren, Austin (Kristin) Lopez, Madison Lopez, Trey Lopez.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marion County Youth Football League.
