Kenneth Wayne Penny

Kenneth Wayne Penny of Anthony, FL passed away at the age of 75, on April 10 2026. He was born on September 2, 1950 to Jimmy and Mamie Penny in Belle Glade Florida.

He will long be remembered as "the man in the hat" - a proud family man and business owner. Residing in Marion county and operating Penny’s Electrical Service, as an electrical contractor

for nearly 30 years, he retired in 2024 - leaving his company in the capable hands of his sons Jeremy and Corey.

He loved to fish and hunt, other hobbies included talking about fishing and hunting.

He leaves behind wonderful family and friends to cherish his memory: including but not limited to his loving wife, Marcia Penny; sons, Kenneth Penny, II (Allison), Jeremy Penny (Rebekah), and Corey Penny (Jessica); brother, Dale Penny; sister, Dane Kelley; and grandchildren, Jarred, Zoe, Lillian, and Aubrey.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home.
