Kim Ann McQueen, 62, of Silver Springs, Florida, passed away on June 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 13, 1964, in Freeport, New York, Kim lived a life defined by dedication to others, fierce love for her family, and a passion for her own health and well-being.
For 26 years, Kim served as a Victim Advocate, walking alongside women through their darkest moments with compassion, strength, and an unshakable desire to protect and empower those who needed it most.
Outside of her work, Kim’s greatest joy was her family. She shared a close and loving bond with her siblings that was central to who she was, and was equally devoted to her nieces and nephews, cherishing every moment with them. She was also committed to her health and fitness, approaching both with the same discipline and dedication she brought to everything she loved.
Kim is survived by her husband, James Green; her father, Bob McQueen; and her siblings, Jay McQueen, Tully McQueen, Kelly McQueen, Collin McQueen, and Wes McQueen. She was the proud and loving aunt of, Erica Leigh, Ashley McQueen, Kyle McQueen, Cassie McQueen, Cami McQueen, Jules McQueen, Ella McQueen, Mya McQueen, Tyler McQueen, Maverick Leigh, and Jovi Leigh. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean McQueen, and her brother, Scott McQueen.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, Florida.
Kim’s light will not fade. It lives on in every woman she fought for, every family member she loved, and every life she made better simply by being in it.
