OCALA - Lanas Clark Yandle, 85, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, in Ocala, Florida.
Born on April 2, 1940, Clark graduated from Ocala High School in 1958. He went on to serve in the National Guard and later became the proud owner of Yandle Building Materials, a business he led with dedication from 1975 until his passing in 2025. His work was not just a livelihood but a reflection of his values: humility, perseverance, and care for others.
A devoted member of the Ocala community, Clark was actively involved in organizations such as The Salvation Army, The Lumberman’s Association, Ocala Business Leaders, the North Magnolia Business District, and many more city and county committees. His commitment to service was rooted in a deep faith and a belief in building connections.
Clark found joy in simple pleasures. He loved traveling the country for NASCAR races. Known for saying “check, double check, triple check,” he often joked that he had sawdust in his blood. He always had a smile for his customers and loved his work with relentless passion.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Yandle; daughter, Whitley Yandle Greinke (Dennis); grandchildren, Tanner Wolter, Taylor Hayhurst, Ty Wolter (Dakota), and Garrett Greinke; and great-grandson, Wade Wolter. He was predeceased far too soon by his eldest daughter, Tabatha Yandle Wolter, in 2019.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Ocala, 2801 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala, Florida 34471.
Clark’s life was a quiet testimony of compassion, hard work, and unwavering faith. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in the eternal peace of Christ.
