Laura Ann Marcum, age 80, of Citra, Florida, passed away in May of 2026. She was born on November 5, 1945 in Ocala, Florida a daughter of Ivey and Elsie Ray.
Laura loved to travel with her husband of 60 years. Visiting the Great Smoky Mountains annually, traveling out west, taking several cruises with Alaska being her favorite and taking walks on the beach.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: husband, Larry Marcum; sons, Steve Marcum, Stacy (Angie) Marcum, Robert (Theresa) Marcum; sisters, Iva Ray, Jama (Jimmy) Oxford, Carol Ann Claytor, Wendy Finlay; brother-in-law, Wayne (Carlene) Marcum; sister-in-law, Cherry Lewis; grandchildren, Kelly (Joel) Huffman, Austin (Lexie) Marcum, Brandon Marcum, Alisha Brown, Jerry (Tiffany) Popp, David (Dani) Kennedy, Christina Kennedy, and Michelle Kennedy; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 6 nieces and 2 nephews
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her in-laws, Clarance & Elizabeth Marcum and sister, Frankie Claytor and nephew, Glen Lewis.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Citra Community Church 2000 NE 180th St, Citra, FL 32113 with a visitation at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Citra Cemetery.
Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
