Ocklawaha - Lawrence H. "Larry" Payton, 79, was taken into God’s Loving arms on September 3, 2021. He was born November 21, 1941 in Cozad, Nebraska to George Charles and Altra Payton. He was a licensed real estate broker and registered residential contractor for 30+ years, specializing in home remodeling/restoration/custom framing.

Larry loved fishing, boating, riding his ATV/motorcycle, playing his guitar and cooking for friends and family.  Larry attended the Ocklawaha United Methodist Church.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathleen Payton; brother, Dean Payton; sister, Dorothy King; son, Rod Miller (Judy) and grandson John Miller.

Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
