DOUGLAS, Maenell "Minnie"
Salt Springs - Maenell Marie Douglas, 71, passed away peacefully at home, July 22, 2021. She was born January 2, 1950, in Thibodaux, LA, to the late Clarence and Eula Cheramie. She was a homemaker who made each house she ever lived in a home to all who entered.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Douglas. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Gervais (Eric); son, Marc Douglas (Karli); siblings, Russell Cheramie, Pank Cheramie, Willa Mae Rodriguez, Gladys Plaisance, Palmer “Poochie” Cheramie; and five grandchildren, Caroline Gervais Peyton (Jeremy), Keeli Douglas, Jackson Douglas, Chance Douglas and Justis Gervais.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the First Baptist Church Salt Springs, with Pastor Eric Gervais officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.
