HALES, Margaret J.

Summerfield - Margaret J. Hales, 66, passed away February 22, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born December 5, 1951, in Adel, GA, to Aubrey Phillip and Odell Lucy (Bennett) Avery. She was a teacher’s assistant for Marion County School Board.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jasper Phillip Hales; daughters, Kellie Clements (Rev. Samuel Clements), of Ocala, Kimberly Acton (Joe), of Winter Park; son, Phillip Austin Hales, of Summerfield; step-daughter, Celena Reyes, of Tifton, GA; sister, Joyce Martin (Jim), of Leesburg; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral Service will be 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Unity Baptist Church, Ocala, FL with Reverend Samuel W. Clements officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 4:00 pm.  She will be laid to rest, Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 am, in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lenox, GA. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
