ROGERS, MARGARET WOODARD DAVIDSON
Ocala - Margaret Rogers, 67, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 in Ocala, Florida. She was born March 12, 1954, in Savannah, Georgia to William Murray Davidson, III and Margaret Newell Farmer.

Peggy attended Savannah Country Day School and graduated from Brenau Academy, Gainesville, GA, where she enjoyed company of a host of international friends.   Her higher education continued at the University of Georgia and Georgia State University.

She became a respiratory therapists, working at a number of hospitals in the South.  Her fondest memories and friendships stem from her time as a team member of ShandsCair, which flew distressed babies from all over Florida to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
Peggy later worked at We Care and the fine jewelry department at Macy’s-Ocala, where she spent more than she made.  She leaves behind her Loving Brother Bruce McIntire Davidson of Atlanta and her son James Davidson Rogers and grandson Mitchell James Rogers of Oklawaha, plus nieces and nephews.  Her older brother William Murray Davidson IV (also known as Barbara) and her parents pre-deceased her.  She also leaves a host of loving and caring friends with whom she shared laughter, tears and triumphs of life and  who helped her cope with the disease of ALS which, after a long and valiant fight, took her away from us all.

Remembrances may be made to the Marion County, Florida, Humane Society in her name and Java, Salem, Madi Gras, Midnight, Spenser, Sugar Cane and all the other dog friends that accompanied her through the years.
