Marguerite Carol Pennington, age 81, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away on August 16, 2025. She was born on September 13, 1943, in Effingham, Illinois, a daughter of Lyle and Bonnie Matthews.

She is preceded by; husband, Robert Pennington; daughter, Dianna Helm; brother, Kenneth Matthews.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter, Nancy Ray; grandchildren, Elizabeth Wissinger, John Gardner, Kellie Wissinger, Jeffery Ray II, Robin Wissinger; great grandchildren, Dillon Sanderson, Layla Henry, Dallas Parr, Malcolm Henry, Jackson Parr, Mikey Parr, James Thorpe, Trinity Thorpe, Emily Watkins, Lily Jennings, Avery Jennings, Katie Gardner, Christina Gardner, Jaden Toler; great great grandchild, Oaklynn Sanderson.

A memorial service will take place on September 13, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the residence of Nancy Ray.

The cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home.
