Martha Ann Laine, 76, passed away at Sylvia’s House on September 8, 2015. Born in Ironton, Ohio, on September 19, 1938, to Carl and Artie Markins. She moved to Ocala in the early 70’s. Martha was a loving wife and homemaker. Preceded in death by her son, Marvin Bays; two brothers, George Markins, James Markins; and sister, Mae Carpenter; she is survived by her husband, LeRoy Laine; sons, Thomas “Tommy” (Glenda) Bays and Kevin (Tammy) Bays; stepdaughter, Mistie (Kevin) Townsend; step-son, Steve (Anne) LaRue; stepson, Joe (Leonor) LaRue; sisters, Maymie (Roger) Spillman, Barbara (Rob) Simmons; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 11:00 am, Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Church of God, 3201 NE 25th Avenue, with Judy Markins officiating. Visitation will held be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park.
