Mary Hilovsky

Mary Nellie Hilovsky, 90, passed away on February 3, 2023 in Ocala, Florida. She was born November 9, 1932 to Carl Kisiel and Caroline Ozog in Brackenridge, PA.  She lived in Lower Burrell, PA until 1996 when she and her husband relocated to Ocala, Florida. She enjoyed 62 years of marriage with Hank.
Mary was the daughter of hard working Polish immigrants.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.   Mary was an excellent cook especially when it came to Polish cuisine. She was a passionate gardener, especially when it came to her tropical plants and palms. She carried on with the sewing skills that her mother taught--sewing not only clothes, but furniture covers, curtains and pillows. Mary enjoyed her daily walks, playing tennis and cards with her friends. Mary also enjoyed traveling both in the U.S. and overseas to Poland, Israel, Greece and Italy with Hank and her family and could speak fluent Polish. She delighted in spending
time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents, husband, Henry Hilovsky, brothers, Chester and Theodore Kisiel and sister, Betty Arsenault.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy DeHart (Richard), Janet Dross (Peter) and Jean Hidinger (Chris); sons, John Hilovsky and Mark Hilovsky (Rod); sisters, Dorothy Loebig and Josie Klucinec; 9 grandchildren, Richard and Jacob DeHart, Kristin and Matthew Dross, Jessica Dross Rogers, Jenna Hidinger Sasala, Paul and Nikki Hidinger and Emily Hilovsky; and 1 great-granddaughter Lucy Sasala.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday February 9, 2023 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala, FL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Service may be viewed via livestreaming at blessedtrinity.org.  Interment to follow at Florida National Veterans Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
