Mary Carolyn Ohlsen, 53, of Oklawaha,FL, formerly of Greenwood, IN, passed away at 12:30  AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Palm Garden, Ocala, FL.  Respecting her wishes, cremation, under the direction of CountrySide Funeral Home, Anthony, FL, will be followed by interment in Arthur, IL at a later date.

Mary was born November 4, 1962, to W. Keith and Carolyn (Pankey) Ohlsen, in Clinton, IL.  She graduated  from Perry Meridian High School, Indianapolis, IN, Class of 1981.  On August 8, 1988, she became the wife of Joseph Seminario and mother to adorable young children, Josie and Joseph.  With the Class of 1991, she graduated from the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at J. Everett Light Career Center, Indianapolis, IN.  She touched the lives of many people in her nursing career, as well as friends and family, as a result of her loving, compassionate nature.  Friends and family also treasure the memories of her deep love and care for others and her beloved pets.  She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love to laugh.

She is survived by her parents, W. Keith and Barbara Ohlsen, Greenwood, IN and Carolyn (Pankey)Ohlsen, Indianapolis, IN; her brother, Eric A. Ohlsen and wife, Melanie; her nephew, Jacob T. Ohlsen, all of Indianapolis, IN;  children, Josie Westphal and husband, Billy, Oklawaha, FL,  Joseph Seminario and wife, Janet, Ft. McCoy, FL;  Grandchildren, Katie Westphal, Jacob Westphal, and Joshua Kendrick all of Oklawaha, FL; Halee Seminario, Joseph Seminario, and Anthony Seminario all of Ft. McCoy, FL; an uncle, Kenneth Ohlsen, Arthur, IL, an aunt, Darlene (Ohlsen) Stratman and husband, Mike of TN and their children, Steve Stratman and Cindy Stratman: an aunt, Brenda (Pankey) Miller and husband, Ron, Lake City, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Seminario and grandparents, Willard and Ruth Ohlsen and Marvin and Rose Pankey.  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or charity of your choice.

Mary was dedicated to her beliefs and goals in life and found strength and comfort in the poem entitled "Footprints".  As promised, by our LORD, His child has come home to Him for eternity.
