Mattie Sue Edwards

Mattie Sue Edwards, age 80, of Salt Springs, Florida, passed away on July 24, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1944, in Milledgeville, Georgia, a daughter of Wilbur and Mary Ragan.

She is preceded by; brother, Jessie Marcus "Mark"

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; sons, Dalton L. Edwards, Steven A. Edwards; daughter, Wanda Sue Edwards; brothers, Phillip Eugene Ragan, James Patrick Ragan, Donald Jerry Ragan; sister, Billie June Stacy, Brenda Hodges; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mattie went by Sue mostly, and was called Nunny once she was blessed with grandchildren.

We will celebrate Nunny Sue's life at the Salt Springs, FL VFW, Saturday August 9th at 2PM. Please feel free to dress casually, bring a covered dish and a story to share.

The cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home.
