Maxine Bryant

Maxine Pearl Bryant, 99, peacefully passed away on October 16, 2021, in Ocala, FL. Maxine was born July 14, 1922 in Conner, FL to Maxie Mason and Pearl Williamson Mason. She was a seamstress most of her life. She graduated from East Marion and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Ocala.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hurshel Bryant; daughter, Vivian Peters; sister, Nadine Nettles.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jenice Jones and Mark Peters (Christine); her nieces, Marsha Bowen (Greg), Karen McCleary (Mike); four great-grandchildren; one great-niece and four-great nephews; ten great-great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday October 20, 2021 at Waldena Cemetery in Lynne, FL. Pastor Ed Johnson will be officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
