MEARS, Michael Eugene
Ft. McCoy – Michael Eugene Mears, 59, passed away February 22, 2016 at Hospice Legacy House. Born November 17, 1956 in Hollywood, FL to James Willis Mears and Charlyn Bennett Mears. Michael has resided in Marion County for the last 22 years after moving from Hudson, FL. He was a heavy equipment operator in building construction and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela J. Mears; parents, James and Charlyn Mears, of Hog Valley, FL; and sister, Bonnie L. Persinger, of Bronson, FL. He was a loving son, husband and brother and will be missed by all who knew him.
