FRISBIE, MONICA E.

Ocala - Monica Elizabeth Frisbie, 80, passed away May 9, 2021 in Ocala, Florida. She was born February 19, 1941 in Stuttgart, Germany, she was the daughter of Elisabeth (Lissa) and Franz Swing. Monica was the owner and operator of her own Floral Shop in Belleview for several years followed by being the Floral Manager at Winn Dixie on Blitchton Road in Ocala until she retired.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Franz Swing and Elisabeth (Lissa) Swing and brother. Wolfgang Duerr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William Long Frisbie, son: Jon Frisbie, daughter; Michelle Horne, husband Ty. As well five grandchildren: Justin Smith, Austin Frisbie, Tell Horne, Aubrey Frisbie and Carrissa Lynn and five great-grandchildren: Savannah Smith, Hailey Smith, Morgan Smith, Auden Frisbie and Grayson Lynn as well as many beloved nieces and nephews extended family members and many wonderful friends who became family.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home at 2:00PM, with Pastor Wayne Hunter officiating.
