Monte Ray Marlar a long-time resident of Ocala, Florida passed
away suddenly on March 14, 2023, at the age of 64.
Monte was married to the love of his life, Marilee Marlar at the time
of his passing and will be missed deeply for the rest of hers.
Monte was born in Dallas, Texas on December 1 st , 1958, to parents
Kenneth Marlar and Wanda Cobel, who along with one sibling
Kenneth E. Marlar preceded him in death as well as his wife’s
parents, Francis and Sharon Reedy.
Monte is survived by his Wife, Marilee, Son Kenneth Ray Marlar
Goodson, Daughter-in-law Angela, and Granddaughter Hannah.
Monte is also survived by and will be forever missed by older sister
Lynn Burns, younger siblings Chuck, Darla, Keri, Marcia, and Keith,
Aunt Susie and Uncle Henry Steel, and many, Cousins, Nieces,
Nephews, and Friends.
Monte was a Lifelong Dallas Cowboy Fan (Ask Anybody) and Loved
his Family, Friends, and Country. He liked having fun and wanted
everyone around him to have fun as well.
