Nancy Lou Venditto

May 22, 1944 — December 30, 2025

Nancy Lou Venditto, 81, of Ocala, Florida, and formerly of Diamond Point, New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Born in Glens Falls, NY, in 1944, Nancy was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Cameron) Reed of Lake George, New York. A proud member of the Warrensburg Central School Class of 1962, she went on to marry the love of her life, Rocco Venditto, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington, NY, in 1963. Together, they shared a lifetime of devotion and family.

Nancy’s life was defined by her hands and her heart. Throughout her career, she shared her many talents as a licensed beautician, a Home Health Aide, and a cook for the Warren County Meals on Wheels Program in Warrensburg. She also spent several years as a familiar face at Erlanger’s Fashions in Queensbury. An exceptionally gifted cook and seamstress, Nancy found deep fulfillment in caring for seniors throughout the Lake George and Glens Falls areas, truly treasuring the conversations and connections she made with them.

Known as the quintessential "homeroom mom," Nancy was renowned for the delicious baked goods she brought to every class party. Her devotion to her children was unmatched; she was a constant, cheering presence in the stands, never missing a single home game.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Gebo; and her parents-in-law, Vincenzio and Maria Venditto.

Her legacy of love continues through her husband, Rocco A. Venditto, Sr.; her children, Rocco (Shanda) Venditto, Jr., David Venditto, and Michele Venditto; her brother, Richard (Cathy) Reed; and her sister, Janet Holcomb. She is also survived by three grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Katelyn (David) Allen, Katarina (Eddie) Nickerson, and Michael (Lyric) Venditto, as well as seven cherished great-grandchildren (Madison, Brody, Jaxson, Mason, Anastasia, Penelope, McKenley)

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, Florida.
