Nellie Jackson

Nellie Jackson, age 86, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. She was born on September 20,1938, in Island Grove, Florida, a daughter of Percy and Addie Rowell.

She is preceded by; her husband of 56 years, Jack Jackson; sister, Martha Richardson; grandmother, Lucy Balkcom. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; sister, Myra Rowell Smith of Ocala, Florida whom she helped raise from birth; nephew, Keith and several other nephews and nieces close to her heart.

She retired from a local phone company after 33 years. She was a member of Living Waters Church of God and Williston Church of God where she worked in the Church with her brothers who was a Pastor for 33 years. 

A Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Countryside Funeral Home, with a Visitation an hour prior. 

Interment will follow on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, Florida.
