Pastor "Andy" John Andrew Bloom

Pastor "Andy", John Andrew Bloom, age 74, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2024. He was born on August 19, 1949, in Akron, Ohio, a son of Jesse and Betty Bloom.

He is preceded by his parents and brothers, Harry James Bloom and Jesse David Bloom. 

He served in a pastoral role for over fifty years and for forty of those years, he served as pastor at Central Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Janice Bloom; son, Paul Bloom (Bonnie); daughter, Michelle Taylor (Richard); son, Jesse Bloom (Emily); brothers, Richard Charles Bloom (Lucy), Timothy Herbert Bloom ( Jannine); seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

A Funeral Service has been scheduled for Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Central Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
