Paulette Crowe Parker, 85, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loved ones and her dog Sweetie.

Paulette was born in Miami on September 20, 1935 to Harlan and Mattie Crowe. She was one of nine children. She spent most of her life living in the Sunshine State with her favorite spot being Saint Petersburg. She loved the beach and the warm weather. She also loved birds, butterflies, and gardening.

Affectionately called Nana by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, she lived her life caring for others. First as a teacher, then as a mom and finally as a grandmother. She helped anyone who needed it whether it be by feeding them, providing books and toys, sewing blankets and masks or just being there.

There has been an endowment fund established in her name at Voices for Children of North Central Florida to provide basic necessities and special opportunities to children in state custody. Please consider making a donation in honor of Paulette at voices4childrenfl.org
