Pierre Joseph Morin, age 85, of Ft McCoy, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 8, 2023. Following a brief battle with brain cancer. He was born on September 20, 1937, in Montreal, Canada, son of the late Jeanne and Arthur Morin.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Margret, two brothers, Andre and Jacques and a sister Georgette.

 He is survived by daughter, Kimberlee (Harold) Ernsberger (Goshen, Indiana); son Robert (Debbie)
Morin (Ft. McCoy Florida) ; one sister Denise Cromer (Deland, Florida). Pierre
has three grandchildren, Tamara (Bryan) Wodtkey-Hicks, Christopher (Kelli)
Morin (Ocala, Florida), and Justin Morin (Ft. McCoy, Florida); Two great
grandchildren, Ethan and Avery, along with several nieces and nephews whom he
cherished and loved very much. After a fulfilling 47-year career and 67 years as a
member of Pipefitters Union, Local 725, specializing in pneumatic tube systems.
He enjoyed time with family and friends, camping, traveling abroad and fishing.
Our father was a man whose kindness was boundless, as he never met a stranger.
His compassion, caring and his humor, unforgettable.


A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, July 15, 2023. at
Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony, Florida.
Family and friends may gather from 10am till 11am with services to follow at
11am. Reception at Pine Methodist Church, 6925 NE 175 th Street Rd, Citra, Florida
at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers please: Hug the people you cherish most everyday and tell them
