Raymond Collins, Sr.

Raymond Leon Collins, Sr., of Anthony Florida died Saturday, October 20, 2018  at Legacy House, Ocala FL.

Raymond was born August 31, 1937 in Chester Pa to Lawrence & Phoebe Collins. He moved to Anthony, FL in 1965 from Chestertown, MD. Raymond was a farm maintenance worker for many years prior to retiring in 1999.

He was predeceased by his parents , daughter Patti ,  brothers Lawrence , Charlie Freddie and one sister, Violet .

He is survived by his son Raymond Jr. (Rita) of Anthony , daughter Rebecca Ray (Dean) of Ft.McCoy , sisters Lovinia McNatt of Smyrna, Delaware , Phebe Wallace (Wayne) of  Clayton , Delaware, Dorothy Jenkins of Ocala, Margaret Shearouse (Roy) of Anthony and June Johnson of Ft. McCoy. Eight grandchildren , six great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Gaj officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Anthony Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
