Raymond Edward McNeill

Raymond Edward McNeill, age 80, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on July 25, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on July 14, 1943 in Sylacauga, Alabama. a son to the late Louis Edward and Maude (McLeod) McNeill. n addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth and Gary McNeill and a grandson Kyle James.  He was a co- owner of Smokey's Well and Pump. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 60 years, Shirley (Hughes) McNeill, a son Gregory "Greg" (Coni) McNeill, daughter Karen Renee (Greg) Watson, brother Donald Louis McNeill, sister Vicki Lorraine McNeill Cates, five grandchildren, Sara (Austin) West, Zack (Brittany) Watson, Savannah (Payton) Parnell, Casey (Mark) James, Kaylee McNeill, six great grandchildren, Lane West, Luke West, Andi Watson, Styles Parnell, Maci Crosby,and Trent Crosby.  A funeral service has been scheduled for Friday July 28, 2023 at 11:00am at Oakcrest Baptist Church with visitation for one hour before.  Burial will follow at Anthony Cemetery.
