In the afternoon hours of October 8, 2025, Richard “Dick” Orland Clark passed away at his home in Ocala, Florida surrounded by his family. He was born on April 9, 1942, in Marion, Ohio to his parents Vernon and Ruth Clark.
He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda, sister Rosie, and his parents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; sons, Richard (Paula) Lee Clark, Michael (Jennifer) Keith Bankhead, Daniel Clark, Bryant (Elizabeth) Clark; daughters, Lena Mather, Kristy Clark; along with his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Dick was well known in Ocala as an amazing diesel mechanic. The trucking community always knew of his ability to rebuild Mack rear ends and transmissions. Those who were closest to him knew of his love of country and blue grass music, along with his natural ability to play guitar. He loved his family, God, guns, fast cars, and his country.
A Memorial service will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. at Church of Hope.
