Ocala – Robert L. Corley, 86, passed away December 20, 2015 in Summerfield surrounded by family under the care of Hospice. Born October 15, 1929 in Atlanta, GA, to John W. Corley and Sarah Mayo. He was a telephone repairman for Southern Bell Telephone Company for 35 years. After retirement he and his son started building homes. He enjoyed playing golf during his spare time.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Martha Corley; son, Robert Corley (Vicki), OR; daughter, Pam Barnes (Jay), Ocala; brother, John Corley, CA; and three grandchildren, Michelle Corley, Michael Corley and Lindsay Barnes; two great-grandchildren, Camilla Corley and Asher Corley. He was a loving husband, father, and brother who will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Barnes Cemetery with pastor Elwood Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
