Robert William Jandrew, age 72, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on August 3rd, 2025. He was born on September 11, 1952, in Allentown, New York, a son of Walter and Rosenia Mae Jandrew.

He is preceded in death; His mother and father, Grandparents; George and Erma Jandrew and Charlie and Pauline Sprague. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Kathy Jandrew; sons, Joshua Jandrew (Shannon), Chris Reed (Melissa), Justin Reed; daughters, Holly Jandrew (Edzel Mendoza), Amy Eschen (Mike); 9 grandchildren, Issaih Reed, Gage Reed, Miles Lugo, Charlie Liles, Wyatt Liles, Reed Liles, Austin Reed, Amily Reed, Giovanni Reed and 3 great grandchildren. 

Robert enlisted in the US Navy in 1972 during the Vietnam era as a navy diver. His duty stations included Norfolk, Virginia, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Sicily and Orlando, Florida. During his tenure he was involved in two wars and four conflicts the last being Desert Storm. Rob retired after 20 years of service in 1992. He relocated to Shenandoah, Iowa where he met and married his wife Kathy Reed on July 13, 1996. He was employed by Eaton Corporation for 15 years retiring in 2007. Following his father‘s death in 2010 he moved to Ocala, Florida to take care of his ailing mother. He maintained his residency until his death. Rob was a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles, the VFW and Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He was a supporter of InterFaith and enjoyed randomly covering meal tabs for the elderly at Ocala restaurants. He particularly enjoyed giving to local kids programs for back to school supplies and anonymously surprising neighborhood children with small gifts during the holidays. He was also a fervent supporter of Saint Jude.
