Robert Stanley Kennen

Robert Stanley Kennen, 77, passed away on August 8, 2026, in Anthony, Florida. He was born April 20, 1949, a son of Albert and Arlene Kennen in Piscataway, New Jersey.

He is preceded by his mother and father Albert Kennen and Arlene DiRoberto, his stepfather Frank DiRoberto, his sister Patricia Frasca, and his brother Roger DiRoberto.

He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Cheryl Kennen, sons, Robert "Bobby" Kennen, Jr., (Ashli), Albert Joseph, and Jonathan Aaron (Ashley), brothers, Albert "Buddy" Kennen, Paul David Kennen, and Francis DiRoberto; and eight grandchildren Robert "Trey" III, Regan, Thomas, Savannah, Rachel, Robert, Mackenzee and Zander.

Robert worked for Nash Plumbing and Mechanical for over 35 years.

He loved spending time outdoors fishing, kayaking, hiking, golfing. Earlier in life surfing and playing softball were among his interests He and Cheri were regulars at the Ocala Civic Theatre and enjoyed a lifetime of adventures together. He supported his grandchildren and their interests. He was an avid UNF Osprey fan.

He coached at the Boys Club of Ocala as well as Fisher Park Little League.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home.
