Belleview - Robert A. Murphy Sr., 80, passed away at Tuscany Hospice House April 1, 2015. Born October 7, 1934 in Malden, MA to Ambrose and Dolly Murphy. He was very active in horse breeding, racing, and loved going to the track, and watching a lot of baseball games. He also worked as a building contractor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Price; son, Robert A. Murphy Jr., Stuart, FL, and two granddaughters, Grace and Scarlett Murphy.
Memorial gathering will be held Friday, April 3rd from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony, FL 32617, with a service starting at 5:00 p.m. and Pastor Bob King officiating.
