Ocala - Robert Owen O'Connor died August 8, 2016 at Hospice. Born to Edward J. O'Connor and Gloria Lillick on November 22, 1942 in Astoria, NY. Robert was a Detective for NYPD and a Deputy for Marion County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed to fish and raise chickens. He was also an avid wood carver and history buff.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 11,

at 9:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church Ocala, FL. Burial will follow Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., in North Lauderdale, Fl at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
