Robert Sanders
October 18, 1952 — May 31, 2016
Ocala – Robert S. Sanders, 63, passed away May 31, 2016 at Legacy House. Born October 18, 1952 in Baltimore, MD to Robert M. Sanders and Dorothy Elaine Reed. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Steve owned and operated Rug Cutters Carpet Installation. He loved fishing, hunting and dragbike racing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Sanders and brother, James Sanders. He is survived by his mom, Ernestine Sanders; daughter, Suzanna Ritter Mruk (Keith); sister, Debra Sanders Williams (Keith), Amanda Sanders Parry (Rob); brother, Mark Harris; grandchildren, Katie and Robert Ritter; nieces, Becky Goss-Jose (Jed), Julia Parry; and nephews, Brad Goss and Robert Parry and mother, Elaine Jones. Also survived by close friend, Mark and Mary Hollenbeck, and many other good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County in memory of Robert “Steve” Sanders. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
