Robert "Bob" Henry

Robert William “Bob” Henry, age 83, of Ocala passed away on December 24, 2022, at the EW
and Lucille Cates Hospice House. He was born on January 18, 1939, in Tampa, son of the late
John Logan and Evelyn (Clyde) Henry.

He graduated from Plant High School and attended the
University of Tampa, majoring in Business. Bob was the restaurant manager for Morrison’s
Cafeterias for 38 years and served in the US Army Reserve as a military policeman. He was a
member of Fort King Presbyterian Church where he was ordained as a Presbyterian Elder and
served on several ministries.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 62
years, Bernice, and their children and grandchildren: son, Mark (wife Karen) Henry and
grandsons Logan and Tyler Henry, daughter Marcia (husband Gary) Borden and grandsons Ryan
(wife Nicholle) Borden and Shane Borden and Mariah Velasquez, daughter Michele (husband
Kurt) Danley and granddaughter Mikayla (husband Devon) Mills and grandson Kaden Danley.
Bob is also survived by his sister, Evelyn Sue Green.

A memorial service is scheduled for
January 15, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fort King Presbyterian Church.
