Robert Maurice "Morris" Lacy, 87, passed away on November 27, 2016. Born March 7, 1929 in Hi Pine, AL, to John B. and Catherine P. Lacy. He has been a Marion County resident for 72 years and retired from the United States Postal Service. Morris was Korean War Veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Viola Lacy; son, Robert M. Lacy, Jr. (Rhonda); sisters, Joy Detlefsen (Randy), Mary Owens; grandchildren, Robbie, Robyn, Regina, Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Princess, Ariana, Alaysha, Ryland;
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Chaplain Herb Agee officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
