Roger Lee Bailey

Roger Lee Bailey, 84, passed away on May 17, 2025 in Ocala, Florida. He was born February 24, 1941 to Wheeler Bailey and Golda Morris Bailey, in Caney, Kentucky. He drove truck for most of his life.He served in the United States Navy. He lived in Fort McCoy Florida at the Veterans Village and absolutely love it! He made so many friends and was so happy there. He was a man full of life! He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He was full of so many stories he loved to share with who ever would listen! He will be missed by so many.

He is preceded by his parents; daughter, Carolyn Welch ; sisters, Cathy Kleist and Peggy Scott.

He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Edwards, Sandy Cook, Tina Bailey and Brandy Hall; adopted Sons, Jimmy Bailey and Joseph Bailey.

He had 9 Grandkids, 19 Great grandkids and 4 Great Great Grandkids

A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday May 28, 2025 at Countryside Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 8:30. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
