Sherman "Bud" Eldridge French, age 93, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on October 13, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1931, in Marion, Ohio, a son of Eldridge and Isabelle French.
He is preceded by; brother, Sheridan; sisters, Reneva Chesser, Bertha Knaul, Stella Russell, Flora Rice, Cora Mossman, Dorothy Ferguson, Ondie Messenger
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; daughter, Debra Hurd (Larry); grandchildren, Bobbi-Jo Jacobowitz (Will), Matthew Hurd, step-grandchildren, Lena Mather, Richard Clark; great grandchildren, Dylan Jacobowitz, Kylah Hurd, Luke Hurd; honorary son, Robert Chafin.
The cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on November 9, 2025 from 1pm -4-pm at VFW Post 4209, 4805 NE 36th Ave, Ocala, FL 34479
