SMITH, SHIRLEY JEANNE, 85
Ocala - Shirley Smith passed away at Legacy House on March 13, 2015. Born in Kittanning, PA, she has lived in Ocala on and off since 1963. She retired with UniFirst Uniform Cleaning Service. She is predeceased by her parents, Claire P. Glenn and Alma Stevanson Glenn; and husband, Russell Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Eileen) Hourigan, Jeff Hourigan, Glenn 'Bud' (Donna) Smith; daughter, Joan (Robert) Penna; sisters, Janet Grantz, Kathy Sell, Judy Kunkle, Margaret Pase, Thelma Adams, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Per her request, Shirley did not want a service. There will be a family gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
