Terrel Laroy Hood, age 66, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. He was born on July 18, 1959, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to the late Roy and Lillian Hood.

Terrel was a man of quiet strength, sharp intellect, and deep devotion to his family. For more than 30 years, he built a respected career as a Certified Public Accountant, operating his own practice and earning the trust of countless clients through his integrity, diligence, and unwavering work ethic. In addition to his accounting career, Terrel was a successful business owner, managing rental properties and various ventures over the years. His heart overflowed when it came to his four granddaughters Madilynn, Marley, Shivonne, and Vivian who brought him immense joy and laughter. He cherished every moment spent with them and loved being their grandfather.

Terrel is also survived by his brother, Chris Darrell Hood, and Dita Brinks, along with extended family and many friends who will miss his steady presence, thoughtful conversations, and kind heart.

Terrel Laroy Hood will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a respected professional, and a man whose legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
